Our range of sunscreen fabrics are contructed from a mixture of fibreglass, fibreglass/PVC, and polyester. These yarns provide high heat and weather resistance, longevity, dimensional stability and fire retardancy. The yarns are also mould resistant and can therefore be safely installed in bathrooms and areas of high humidity and moisture.

Sunscreen fabrics help reduce energy consumption by reflecting solar energy and filtering the light. They protect furniture and furnishings from the effects of fading and discolouring by eliminating 85-95% of UV rays. They also provide daytime privacy as you can see out but the outside cannot see in. They do not however provide night time privacy or good night time insulation.

Some large blinds generally wider than 2500mm and/or longer than 3000mm can show fabric 'bagging 'or 'wavering'. This is a natural occurrence as blind fabrics are not rigid and can move. To reduce this effect we use heavier duty rollers and in some cases split the blind into multiple blinds.
